Origins

The Hidden Rose Apple® has a storied past. Originally growing on the Newell’s land in Oregon, this unique apple tree was nearly lost when the property was sold. Decades later, it was rediscovered, being recognized for its distinctive pink flesh. The first commercial orchard was established by a dedicated advocate for sustainable agriculture.
